..and walked and walked and walked
aaaannnndd waaaaalkkkkedd!
That´s right. It’s been a week of
walking under the HOT Sonoran sun! We reached 120 degrees this Saturday too!
Hna Balboa and I are beat every night when we get home, but it’s really
satisfying feeling so tired.
120 degree weather or not, the work
moves forward! This week we had a couple of difficulties with our
investigators.
Reina is still very interested and
has been reading the Book of Mormon a lot, but didn´t come to church. And
Daniel is now having some doubts about his baptism.
These are a bit of a let down but Hna
Balboa and I will have to keep working hard. President always says that the
success of a missionary isn´t measured by baptisms, but how diligent the missionary
is at inviting ALL to come unto Christ with the Spirit. Every once in a while I
feel like a rough period is thrown at us in the mission to discourage us, but
by looking at that definition of missionary success, I feel more encouraged to
keep inviting and living worthy of having the Spirit with me at all times.
That´s all for this week!!
Con amor,
Hermana Hauck
