We all scream for ice cream!!!
Hullo world! Hermana Haucksie
reporting to you live that ice cream season has indeed started. This week has
been a bit cooler than last week.. but I´m just waiting until July/August
weather when it is +120 everyday. Luckily it is really common here for families
to start businesses selling ice cream(ish) treats called hielitos (yel-eet-ohs)
and bolis (boh-lees) from their houses.
Today has been spent trying on
pants... which all girls know is the WORST! But in our mission pants will be
required in all proselyting in the months July, August and September, then they
will be optional until December.
This week has been looking for lots
of new investigators. We had to stop teching Daniel because he had lots of
doubts and problems that neither he nor we could settle. We were a little
discouraged, but were really excited to find some new investigators with alot
of potential including the Family Mejia-mother and father with five children-
who´ve shown lots of interest.
Reina is doing well but is still
sorting out family problems. She loves reading the Book of Mormon though and
has read a good deal of it already.
That sums it up for this week!!
